Wow! Can I just say my boyfriend and I had one of the best service experiences here compared to any Vietnamese or Asian restaurant for that matter.

We came here for a late dinner after doing some shopping at WEM on Tuesday night. The food (I had the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl and my boyfriend had a regular bowl of pho) was as expected and tasty. We also ordered spring rolls which were fresh and crispy. However, what made us most impressed was the service from this one gentleman working there that night. He was always smiling and so pleasant from start to finish that I was taken aback to be quite honest! We were so impressed with his frienldy service that my boyfriend approached him after we paid to ask if he was the owner, but to our surprise he wasn't! Just a regular employee. We thanked him for the great service and he seemed so appreciative =)  Well done sir... well done!

Reading through the reviews here, I agree with the common opinion.

This place is fine to pop in for a bowl of reasonably priced soup if you're shopping in the mall and craving pho (Things I usually am doing :P )

Servers are apathetic, will hastily take your order and drop your food off quickly without another word.

I order my usual, the house special (for the "adventurous")
The portions are fair, but the broth is weak and not as savoury and beefy.

The noodles are touch and go whenever I've eaten there. Either nicely firm, long and fresh or soggy and broken :S
The meat portion is very small.

Food court style seating with cutlery, spoons and napkins and sauce on the tables.

    Meh.
I'l be back, but only because it's there.

Not bad, was better in the past; worst service in town; expect mess up with take out orders (they get it wrong so often its like they're doing it on purpose); and once, was even served ROTTEN crab in my seafood pho.
If you're going to take the risk (especially if you're ordering take out), i highly suggest checking it all BEFORE leaving.

It's nothing great, but it's not bad either given it's WEM!  Better than any food court junk, so if that's your market (versus a higher cost place in the little Chinatown), Pho Hoa is a good choice.  I really liked the white bean drink, check out my picture!

My go to place for pho. I always order #17, call me narrow minded! Just unbelievably delicious. I feel like I'm in love when I eat there! Only thing is if you want water, order it immediately! They don't check up! Perhaps this is normal for this type of restaurant, I dunno.
